Phakama is a participatory arts organisation making theatre to engage the head, heart and hands of people on the edges of society. We believe in the power of each individual’s story to move, challenge and inform. We create daring performances in unusual spaces that celebrate who we are and who we can become - individually, collectively and in the world. By creating opportunities for young artists to express, grow and perform we make shared spaces where the impossible can become possible.
