Isaac Momanyi was arrested and charged in the year 2013 for the offence of murder contrary to Section 203 as read with Section 204 of the Penal Code chapter 63 of the laws of Kenya. In the year 2018 he was sentenced to serve under the President's Pleasure (commonly known as; Presidential pleasure Pardon (PP). The High Court of Kenya revised the indefinite sentence to twenty years imprisonment in the year 2023. He has a background in business management ( major in procurement) and a bachelor degree in Law from University of London courtesy of Justice Defenders Organization. As a lawyer in prison, he offers quality legal services to defenceless inmates.
